ABOUT US
We are a team made up of ten students from Vandegrift High School in Austin, Texas. This is our sixth year as a team and we are a part of the ViperBots organization, which consists of ten FTC teams and one FRC team. Our team has a boy to girl ratio of four to six, and a rookie to veteran ratio of two to eight. We are composed of one freshman, one sophomore, four juniors, and four seniors. As a team, we are eager to gain knowledge and experience in STEM fields while also exemplifying and spreading Gracious Professionalism and the core values of FIRST.
Team 12596 Copperhead is dedicated to building a world-class robot that is effective and efficient, with every member contributing to and learning from all aspects of our team and season. We strive to maintain a culture of integrity and cooperation within our team and in our everyday lives while spreading the values of FIRST through outreach to those in our school, community, and world.
